Meet the Founder of 
    The Medical Oracle

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am the founder of The Medical Oracle. I hold a doctoral degree in Pharmacy and a master’s degree in Molecular Cell Biology.  As a graduate researcher, I was introduced to the field of medical writing in 2018. During that time, I wrote numerous abstracts and created posters for my research on breast cancer. Following my research, I authored a thesis and received recognition as a co-author of a manuscript published in Nature Communications. Currently, I work as a medical writer, combining my passion for crafting scientifically accurate deliverables with creating inspirational artworks for a diverse audience.

         

Who is The Black Apollo?

 

Who comes to mind when you hear the name “Apollo?” In Greek history, Apollo is one of the most powerful gods, known for his many talents. He is the god of healing, art, music, prophecy, truth, and knowledge.

“The Black Apollo” is an oracular god—a wise deity who provides medical knowledge to help people heal from various diseases. As a medical writer, he shares his wisdom with others by crafting accurate and insightful medical oracles for his audience. Additionally, as a medical educator for his community, he works to help people understand the racial health disparities affecting the Black population. He aspires to ignite change by improving healthcare for all, while also addressing the healthcare inequities faced by underrepresented populations. One of his most interesting facets is studying Japanese.
